National Award For “Excellence in Home Design”
Heritage Custom Builders of Paw Paw, Michigan was recognized as a “Home of Distinction” in the category of “Excellence in Home Design” for a modular home between 3,001 and 4,000 square feet at the annual Fall Showcase conference of the Building Systems Council; part of National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This is the second time in three years Heritage Custom Builders has received this honor, also taking home the award in 2015. “I’m so proud of our entire team on this project” said Tim Cassidy of Tim Cassidy Builders. “Everyone pulled together to make this fantastic home a reality. We’ve tried to be something different among modular home builders – more than just another square box. This second award shows us we’ve done that. It’s a real honor to get this type of recognition for our efforts.”
This award-winning, lakefront residential home was the masterpiece of our custom “in-house” design by Mike Coeling of Heritage Custom Builders and Marshall Erb of Marshall Erb Design in Chicago, Illinois. Erb brought a vision to Heritage Custom Builders and Tim Cassidy Builders and, together, along with the wonderful homeowners, they now this have this gorgeous home which sits on the shores of Stone Lake in Cassopolis, Michigan. Many creative solutions were required to overcome the challenges of constructing the 6,000 plus square foot home onto the half acre lot.
“Everyone was easy to work with and came together as a team. All the parties involved in this project displayed a high level of collaboration,” said Tim Cassidy of Heritage Custom Builders. “The fluidity of our Chief Architect design system and the efficiency of our modular construction, paired with the willingness and creativity of Marshal Erb Design, allowed us to make this beautiful home a reality.”
The Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence acknowledge building systems professionals in categories including exceptional home design and marketing materials and are seen as the pinnacle of achievement in the building industry in advancing the marketing and technology of building systems.
